Plaintiff/Defense Attorney in Las Vegas

Job Description

We partnered with a law firm in the Grand Rapids area seeking a skilled Litigation Defense Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with experience in litigation defense who are looking to advance their career in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

 Qualifications:

• In good standing with state bar
• One or more years’ experience
• The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and seek the rewards and benefits of growing their practice within the firm. 
• Attorneys need to be willing to litigate and practice in a number of the firm’s practice areas, including insurance defense, probate litigation, and business litigation. 
• Attorneys should be prepared to engage in insurance defense and other civil litigation and have the ability to handle all aspects of the litigation process. 
• Attorneys should have experience with development of case strategy, legal research, preparation of responsive pleadings, briefs and memoranda, and communicating with clients regarding legal strategies and courses of action.
• Attorneys must have experience preparing cases by gathering evidence, preparing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and attending court hearings and mediation. Insurance litigation and trial experience is a plus.
