Overview: We’re seeking a motivated Bankruptcy Attorney with experience representing creditors in bankruptcy for a top client firm. This firm represents creditors, trustees, and debtors in some of the nation's largest bankruptcy cases. This is a remote position with a firm based out of Minnesota. Most of the work is federal, so a Minnesota bar license isn't required.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent creditors of all types in Chapter 11 restructurings.
Draft motions, pleadings, proofs of claim, and objections.
Manage case strategy and negotiate settlements.
Communicate with clients, trustees, and opposing counsel.
Stay current on bankruptcy laws and compliance
Qualifications:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
3–8+ years of bankruptcy experience.
Strong understanding of the Bankruptcy Code and creditors’ rights.
Excellent litigation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
