Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Specialist
Commercial Construction | General Contractor

A well-respected, established general contractor is looking to add a VDC professional to their growing team. This group is known for investing in technology, collaboration, and early involvement across preconstruction and project execution.

This role works closely with project teams, preconstruction, and field leadership to support coordination, constructability, and model-driven decision-making on complex commercial projects.

What You’ll Do

• Support VDC/BIM efforts from preconstruction through construction

• Develop and manage coordinated 3D models for clash detection and constructability reviews

• Partner with project teams, superintendents, and trade partners to resolve coordination issues

• Assist with model-based planning, sequencing, and visualization

• Maintain model accuracy and standards throughout the project lifecycle

What They’re Looking For

• Experience in VDC, BIM, or design coordination within a general contractor or trade environment

• Proficiency with tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar

• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and workflows

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally

• Experience on commercial projects preferred
