Job Description

Gpac just partner with a growing company seeking a Transportation Manager.

• Negotiate competitive freight, trucking, and broker rates to control costs and improve margins

• Dispatch and manage daily truck operations to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries

• Supervise company drivers

• Hire, manage, and negotiate with trucking firms and freight brokers

• Coordinate U.S. export shipments, including preparation and accuracy of all export documentation

• Track shipments, resolve transportation issues, and manage delays proactively

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and logistics vendors

• Maintain detailed shipment, rate, and contract records with a high level of accuracy

Qualifications

• Experience in trucking, transportation, and logistics operations

• Knowledge of U.S. export shipping and documentation

• Experience working with trucking firms and freight brokers

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple shipments daily
