Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Sales Agronomist to join a growing agricultural team. This individual will work directly with growers to provide agronomic recommendations, drive input sales, and build long-term customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on ag experience looking to grow their career in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local growers

  • Provide agronomic recommendations on seed, fertilizer, crop protection, and crop planning

  • Conduct field scouting and identify crop health issues

  • Create customized crop input programs to maximize yield and profitability

  • Meet or exceed sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service

  • Stay current on agronomy trends, products, and technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Business, or related field preferred

  • 2–3 years of agronomy or ag sales experience preferred

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory

Compensation & Benefits

  • $65,000 – $85,000 DOE

  • Competitive bonus potential

  • Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO)
