Owner’s Representative – Residential Construction

Location: Greater Austin, TX

Experience: 3–7 years

OverviewA growing residential homebuilder in the Greater Austin area is seeking an experienced Owner’s Representative to oversee high-quality delivery of single-family homes, condos, and community amenities such as clubhouses. This is a hands-on role for a construction professional who thrives on ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the builder/owner and subcontractors, architects, and project teams

  • Oversee daily construction activities to ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance

  • Review plans, specifications, and contracts to confirm alignment with project goals

  • Track project progress and financials, reporting updates to leadership

  • Coordinate inspections, approvals, and punch lists

  • Address issues proactively and ensure timely resolution

  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, including single-family homes, condos, and clubhouse/community amenities

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in residential construction, including single-family homes, townhomes, condos, or clubhouses

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, schedules, and budgets

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with construction management software is a plus (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, etc.)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
