Gpac is working with client companies seeking 2 personnel, a 2nd shift Production Supervisor and 1st shift Production Supervisors for their facilities south of the La Crosse area to join their leadership team and develop their management skills. These are well-known food manufacturers that have been providing fresh locally processed, high-quality products for 30+ years.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and coach the team to success, ensure manufacturing productivity and efficiency for the shift.
Collaborate with other shift departments.
Follow and enforce all policies and procedures, both company and regulator
Ensure safety of all employees
Trouble shoot and work with Maintenance team.
Communicate with the Management team on shift performance and production, both planning and issue resolution
The ideal candidate holds:
3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing facility, preferably dairy.
Need to be highly motivated, have great communication and leadership skills.
Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform all manufacturing operations.
Familiarity working with data management programs.
Strong understanding of GMP’s and Food Safety
Leadership mindset, great communication, and drive
