Job Description

A respected healthcare facility in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join its leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to help lead a dedicated nursing staff while ensuring the highest standards of care for residents in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) orRegistered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership abilities and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to foster a positive and effective care environment
  • Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations within the facility
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in compliance with federal and Wisconsin state regulations
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Support implementation of best practices and continuous improvements in clinical care
  • Assist the Director of Nursing with staffing, training, and performance management initiatives
  • Help maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • Active LPN or RN license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • A compassionate approach with a commitment to high-quality resident care
