Senior Tax Manager

Location: Louisville Metro, KY (Onsite)

Role Overview:

A well-respected regional accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead their tax team in the Louisville Metropolitan Area. This is a confidential search for a seasoned tax professional ready to step into a strategic leadership role.

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will:

• Oversee and review complex client tax engagements across multiple industries

• Mentor and manage junior and mid-level staff, fostering professional development

• Collaborate with partners on tax planning strategies, compliance, and workflow

• Ensure high-quality deliverables while maintaining and strengthening client relationships

• Lead process improvement initiatives within the tax department

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in tax preparation, review, and planning

• Proven track record of supervising staff and managing teams

• Strong technical knowledge of tax compliance, reporting, and industry-specific regulations

• Excellent communication, client service, and leadership skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $125k–$155k plus bonus eligibility (approx. 15%)
