Healthcare Attorney – Regulatory, Transactions & Reimbursement

A leading national AM Law firm is seeking an experienced Healthcare Attorney with 5 or more years of experience to join its Florida practice, with openings available in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa. Responsibilities:
• Advise healthcare providers, health systems, and other clients on a broad range of regulatory compliance matters, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and state licensure requirements.
• Counsel clients on healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, practice acquisitions, and other strategic arrangements involving providers and health systems.
• Advise on Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payor reimbursement issues, including billing and coding compliance, coverage determinations, and appeals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare providers and health systems on day-to-day operational and regulatory questions.
• Leverage the firm's national platform to coordinate multi-state and cross-disciplinary matters, collaborating with colleagues across practice areas.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 5 or more years of healthcare law experience at a law firm, health system, with demonstrated technical depth across regulatory counseling, transactions, and reimbursement.
• Prior experience advising healthcare providers and health systems is required.
• Proven leadership or mentorship capabilities with a track record of guiding and developing more junior attorneys or legal staff.
• Active Florida Bar admission required; admission in one or more of the relevant federal districts is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and client communication skills with the ability to manage complex matters independently.
