A premier Land Development and Construction firm is seeking a high-caliber Business Development Executive to spearhead our commercial growth strategy.

We are looking for a closer—a strategic hunter with a proven track record of securing high-value contracts and navigating complex commercial land deals. This is a unique opportunity to join an agile, growing builder where your ability to merge technical estimating knowledge with aggressive sales expansion will directly impact our market trajectory.

The Role:

The ideal candidate will leverage an existing network of General Contractors, Real Estate Developers, and Investment Firms to secure large-scale commercial and residential development projects. You will be the bridge between initial vision and closed contracts, managing the lifecycle of the deal from lead generation through, design, concept, to closing the deal on major development projects. 

  • Strategic Origination: Target and secure partnerships with investment firms and institutional developers looking to scale portfolios from $1M to $20M+.
  • Large-Scale Deal Management: Lead sales efforts for diverse projects, ranging from 50-unit residential communities to 10,000-home mixed-use master plans (including retail, office, and infrastructure).
  • Environmental & Mitigation Sales: Market and sell current environmental mitigation projects for company-acquired and permitted land.
  • Market Positioning: Drive the "Master Plan" vision, ensuring projects integrate retail, entertainment, and employment hubs to create long-term community value.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Track Record: Minimum 5+ years of high-level commercial construction sales or business development with a documented history of closing multi-million dollar deals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in project estimation and pre-construction (takeoffs, vendor pricing, and cost analysis).
  • Network: An established "book of business" including active relationships with regional GCs and Real Estate stakeholders.
  • Closing Expertise: Exceptional ability to navigate complex negotiations and manage client relations from the initial pitch to the final signature.
