Position: Appellate Attorney
Location: Dallas, TX
Experience: 8+ Years
Compensation: $160,000–$250,000 base + performance bonus

I am working directly with firm leadership at a growing litigation platform recognized for its depth in complex commercial and insurance disputes. The firm maintains a selective client base, emphasizes strategic case management, and provides attorneys with a clear path to expanded responsibility and long-term growth.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Appellate Attorney will:

• Handle civil appeals in Texas state and federal courts from notice of appeal through disposition

• Draft appellate briefs, petitions for review, mandamus proceedings, and dispositive motions

• Present oral argument

• Advise trial teams on error preservation and appellate strategy

• Collaborate on complex civil matters, including commercial and insurance-related disputes

Requirements:

• 8+ years of appellate experience

• Significant brief-writing experience and oral argument background

• Strong legal research and analytical skills

• Active Texas law license in good standing

• Experience with complex civil litigation appeals preferred

• Board Certification in Civil Appellate Law is a plus
