Layout Surveyor – Commercial & Industrial Concrete (Union Role)

We’re looking for a hands‑on layout surveyor who knows how to set points, establish control, and support concrete foundation work from start to finish.

This is a field‑focused role with union benefits for someone comfortable owning layout on busy commercial jobsites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform high-accuracy construction layout using a Trimble robotic total station
• Layout building lines, grids, foundations, anchor bolts, embeds, elevations, and control points
• Verify dimensions, perform as-builts, and ensure quality control across projects
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to keep jobs moving efficiently
• Assist with .DWG files, layout prep, and point generation in the office
• Support estimating and project teams with takeoffs, coordination, and constructability input

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience with construction layout for commercial/industrial projects
• Proficiency using a Trimble robotic total station
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and plans
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD / .DWG workflows
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy (this role is critical to project success)
• Willingness to work both in the field and in the office as needed
