Estimator – Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Metals

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing structural steel and miscellaneous metals contractor. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking for long-term stability and career growth within a solid organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients during the bidding process
• Assist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in the structural steel and/or miscellaneous metals industry
• Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
