We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a growing, well-established manufacturing company in the greater Chicagoland area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer looking to work in a stable environment with modern equipment and a collaborative team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and optimize programs as a CNC Programmer for mills and/or lathes
- Set up and support machining operations using CNC equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Perform tool selection, offsets, and program adjustments
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards and tight tolerances are met
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to maintain efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer or in a closely related role
- Strong experience with CNC programming, setups, and machining processes
- Proficiency with G-code and familiarity with controls such as Fanuc or similar
- Solid understanding of blueprints and GD&T
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Ability to work independently as a reliable CNC Programmer in a fast-paced environment
