Position Overview

The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee industrial HVAC and refrigeration projects. This role requires a strong field background and the ability to lead teams, manage project timelines, and ensure successful execution from start to finish. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach and leadership style that supports both field operations and overall project performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage industrial HVAC and refrigeration projects from initiation through completion
  • Coordinate and oversee field teams, subcontractors, and project resources
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
  • Collaborate with internal teams including engineering and operations
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and overall performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Maintain clear communication between field and office teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical construction
  • Strong field experience required; engineering-only backgrounds will not be considered
  • Experience managing industrial or large-scale commercial projects
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems (ammonia experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with piping, welding, or pipefitting practices
  • Proven ability to lead field teams and manage subcontractors
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Additional Information
