Claims Adjuster – Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster to join our team. This role is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving insurance claims in a timely and fair manner while delivering excellent service to policyholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review insurance policies to determine coverage and liability
• Investigate claims by gathering statements, inspecting damages, and reviewing documentation
• Assess property damage or injuries and determine claim value
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and vendors
• Maintain accurate claim files and detailed reports
• Ensure compliance with company standards and state regulations
• Manage multiple claims simultaneously and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• Previous claims adjusting experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
• Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office
• Adjuster license (if required by state)
