Job Description

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join a growing, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure projects that support sustainable communities, with clear paths to advancement, leadership, and potential partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and support water and wastewater systems (treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, distribution/collection)
  • Perform engineering calculations, modeling, and system analysis
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports
  • Coordinate with internal civil, environmental, and related teams
  • Support or lead project management (budgets, schedules) based on experience
  • Interface with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
  • Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance
  • Contribute to proposals and business development efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • EIT or PE license (or ability to obtain)
  • 2–10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with treatment design, hydraulic modeling, or utilities preferred
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, or modeling tools (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWorks)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Interest in technical leadership or project management growth
