Job Description

We are looking to add an Insurance Defense Attorney with 3–6 years of experience. You should have experience in general liability defense, and exposure to any of the following is a plus:

• Catastrophic injury / high-exposure claims
• Nursing home and long-term care litigation
• Personal injury and property damage matters
• Product liability

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing an active caseload of insurance defense matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Taking and defending depositions
• Working closely with clients, carriers, and experts
• Developing case strategy and evaluating risk exposure
• Participating in mediations, settlement discussions, and trial preparation

 What You Need

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active IL Bar license (or ability to obtain)
• 3–6 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
