Facilities Maintenance Technician Lead
Southwestern New Jersey | Food Manufacturing | Frozen Bakery Environment

GPAC has partnered with a growing frozen bakery manufacturing facility in Southwestern New Jersey that is looking to add a Facilities Maintenance Technician Lead to their team. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within an SQF/BRC-audited food manufacturing environment supporting critical production and facility systems.

This individual will play a key role in driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting the overall maintenance strategy across the plant.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems
• Support high-speed packaging and automated production equipment
• Drive root cause analysis and reduce equipment downtime
• Supervise maintenance technicians and outside contractors
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and capital projects
• Maintain food safety and sanitation compliance standards
• Assist with CMMS tracking and maintenance documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting ability with automation and PLC systems
• Experience in refrigeration or frozen manufacturing environments highly preferred
• Leadership or team lead experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Background

• Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC exposure
• High-speed packaging experience
• Ammonia refrigeration knowledge
• Food manufacturing compliance knowledge (SQF/BRC/GMP)

Compensation

$75,000–$115,000 DOE
