Project Manager – Mechanical / HVAC
A growing mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in HVAC service and/or mechanical construction projects.
This role is responsible for managing projects from conception through completion, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC/mechanical projects from kickoff to closeout
- Coordinate schedules, materials, subcontractors, RFIs, change orders, billings, and submittals
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Work with clients to develop technical and cost-effective solutions
- Monitor project budgets, profitability, and timelines
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and contract requirements
- Communicate effectively with field teams, leadership, and customers
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC service or mechanical project management experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC-related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, piping systems, and construction processes
- Knowledge of building controls systems is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
