Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)
Position Overview
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive business development and sales growth for a leading pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) manufacturer. This role is responsible for developing relationships with contractors, developers, builders, and end users while expanding market presence within the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate has experience in PEMB, steel construction, or commercial construction sales and is comfortable managing both new business development and existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory
- Build relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and owners
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and sales presentations
- Coordinate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams
- Track market activity and maintain an active sales pipeline
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings
- Travel within the territory to support customer relationships and project pursuits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in PEMB, steel construction, or construction-related sales
- Strong understanding of pre-engineered metal building systems preferred
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
