Construction Superintendent – OPTYM Special Projects (TI & Renovations)

Location: LA / Orange County Territory (Field-Based)

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Summary We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our OPTYM division. This role focuses on executing fast-paced, high-quality Tenant Improvements (TI) and interior renovations across the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. You will provide complete on-site leadership, managing subcontractors and fast-track schedules to deliver clean, specialized commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Leadership: Direct day-to-day field operations, structural layout work, and quality control for premium office, retail, and adaptive reuse TI projects.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage schedules, site logistics, and trade performance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior finish teams.
• Schedule Enforcement: Maintain aggressive fast-track milestones and structural punch lists to guarantee on-time space turnover.
• Safety & Logistics: Implement rigorous site safety protocols, dust containment, and secure staging areas to minimize disruption to surrounding building tenants.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated field experience managing commercial interior tenant improvements (TI) or fast-track building renovations.
• Technical Knowledge: Exceptional ability to interpret detailed architectural blueprints, structural designs, and interior mechanical drawings.
• Mobility: Valid California driver’s license with regular travel required across active project sites in LA and Orange County.
• Certifications: Active OSHA 30 certification required.
