A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support projects within the healthcare, medical, and institutional construction sectors. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across multiple project sites
Conduct regular jobsite inspections and safety audits
Assist with site-specific safety plans and ensure ongoing compliance
Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, implementing corrective actions as needed
Maintain safety records, documentation, and reporting requirements
Coordinate safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks
Experience in commercial construction safety, preferably on healthcare, medical, or institutional projects
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to build relationships with field personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership
OSHA certifications preferred
