Family Law Attorney (3-5 Years Experience)

Our firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing practice. We are looking for an attorney who enjoys litigation, values client advocacy, and wants to continue developing their courtroom and trial skills in a collaborative environment.

As we continue to expand our family law practice, we are seeking an attorney who can confidently handle family law matters while working alongside experienced litigators who are committed to professional growth and mentorship.

What You'll Do

  • Manage family law matters from initial consultation through final resolution
  • Handle divorce, child custody, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, property division, and post-decree matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence
  • Conduct depositions and participate in settlement negotiations
  • Appear regularly in court for hearings, motion practice, mediations, and trials
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and effective case management
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop case strategy and prepare matters for trial

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of family law experience
  • Illinois Bar admission in good standing
  • Experience handling family law pleadings, discovery, and court appearances
  • Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail
  • Professionalism, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter who is eager to continue growing as a litigator and trusted advisor to clients
