Territory Sales Manager – Flooring & Tile

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive business growth within the commercial construction market for a well-established contractor with over 25 years of industry experience. This is a high-impact, relationship-driven sales role focused on developing new business, managing key accounts, and expanding market share with apartment owners, property management companies, developers, and general contractors. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with industry experience who thrives in a remote environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships while identifying new project opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Responsibilities for the Territory Sales Manager:

  • Develop and grow business within an assigned territory targeting commercial ownership groups, property management firms, developers, and contractors
  • Identify and pursue renovation, capital improvement, turnover, and new construction opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers throughout the commercial industry
  • Generate new business while expanding existing customer accounts
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, jobsite visits, and product demonstrations
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and secure profitable contracts
  • Collaborate with estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain visibility into upcoming projects, market trends, and competitive activity
  • Consistently achieve sales goals and territory growth objectives

Requirements of the Territory Sales Manager:

  • Outside sales, account management, or business development experience required
  • Commercial/multifamily flooring, tile, interiors, building materials, construction services, or related industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts
  • Experience calling on property managers, ownership groups, developers, general contractors, and renovation firms preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage a remote territory
