A respected civil litigation firm is looking to add a partner-level attorney with substantive experience in insurance coverage litigation to their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to join an established, industry-leading litigation practice at a senior level, with a clear membership track, defined benchmarks, and a formal mentorship structure in place to set you up for long-term success.

The firm has a strong collaborative culture and is looking for someone who can hit the ground running while also thriving within a team environment. Hybrid options are available after initial training and integration, though candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to the Atlanta office.

What they're looking for:

  • 12+ years of practice experience in insurance coverage litigation and/or general litigation
  • Partner-level experience and the ability to manage a sophisticated caseload with autonomy
  • Active Georgia bar license in good standing
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced litigation environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — you will interact regularly with paralegals, legal assistants, clients, opposing counsel, and courts
  • Initiative, a willingness to learn, and comfort working both independently and collaboratively within a team structure

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and case recommendations
  • Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants as appropriate
  • Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and discovery events, providing thorough reporting
  • Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare cases for trial as necessary
  • Maintain regular, proactive communication with support staff and team members

Logistics:

  • On-site in Atlanta, GA with hybrid flexibility after onboarding
  • Membership track with defined benchmarks
  • Competitive compensation with generous bonus opportunities

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Paid parental leave
  • Mental health support resources
  • Leadership training programs
  • Employee resource groups dedicated to diversity, opportunity, and inclusion
  • Casual dress code
