Hiring: Citrus Production Manager

An established family-owned citrus grower located Northeast Florida is seeking an experienced Citrus Production Manager to oversee all aspects of their citrus grove operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farm management, citrus production, and agricultural best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day citrus grove operations, including irrigation, fertilization, pest and disease control, and harvesting.
  • Supervise and lead field employees while ensuring productivity and safety.
  • Develop and implement production plans to maximize crop quality and yield.
  • Monitor grove health and recommend improvements based on agronomic best practices.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of farm equipment and machinery.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, and operational records.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in citrus or agricultural production management.
  • Strong farm management and leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of citrus growing practices, irrigation systems, and crop production.
  • Hands-on experience with agricultural equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent organizational communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
  • Must currently reside in Florida and have a valid U.S. driver's license
