Personal Lines Account Manager
Insurance Agency
We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing insurance agency. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with policy questions, coverage explanations, and service requests
- Review and process daily account activity, including policy changes, claims notices, auto ID cards, MVR orders, and certificates
- Review policies for accuracy and prepare them for producer delivery or direct distribution to clients
- Prepare renewal summaries, mail renewal letters, and update renewal data in the agency management system
- Quote personal lines coverage with multiple insurance carriers
- Process evidence of insurance (EOIs) and related policy documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system
- Complete additional assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner
Performance Expectations
- Complete all assigned tasks accurately and on schedule
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, carriers, and internal team members
- Provide timely and accurate information to support producers and clients
- Process policy changes promptly and document all activity
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of client data within the agency management system
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a personal lines insurance agency role
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Prior experience with an independent insurance agency
- Experience using Applied Systems agency management software preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High school diploma required; some college coursework or insurance designations (CIC, CPCU, ARM, CISR) a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems
