ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Safety
- Promote a strong safety culture and OSHA compliance.
- Lead project teams and coordinate with field personnel.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Project Management
- Manage projects from planning through closeout.
- Build relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates.
- Oversee procurement, subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Track project costs and maintain profitability.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
Construction Oversight
- Monitor field operations for quality and schedule compliance.
- Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor activities.
- Resolve construction issues proactively.
- Manage inspections, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Support project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation.
Client Relations
- Serve as the primary client contact.
- Provide consistent project updates.
- Build long-term relationships through exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and building codes.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Strong financial and cost-control skills.
- Ability to lead diverse teams and build client relationships.
- Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is a plus.
