Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)Salary: $110,000–$125,000 + Comprehensive Benefits

A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its expanding Boston office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least one year of civil litigation experience who is looking to gain hands-on experience, work on sophisticated cases, and develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The firm offers exposure to a broad range of litigation matters, allowing associates to build a diverse practice while working closely with experienced attorneys and clients across multiple industries.

  • Additional Civil Litigation Matters

Responsibilities

  • Manage civil litigation matters through all phases of litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.
  • Handle written discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
  • Assist with mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the courts.
  • Maintain organized case files while managing deadlines and multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Massachusetts Bar admission or eligibility to become licensed.
  • At least one (1) year of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.
