Job Description

                                               CNC Machinist

 

We are looking for a 2nd Shift 3:00 pm -11:00 pm CNC Machinist with Horizontal Mill preferably Mazak experience to join our team.

 

The company has been established for nearly three decades and has continued investing in equipment and expanding its capabilities.

They support industries such as mining, aerospace, military, transportation, construction, infrastructure, and energy, so the work

is much more varied day to day.

 

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes and mills
  • Change tooling and make machine adjustments to hold tolerances
  • Load/unload parts and run production cycles
  • Read blueprints, job orders, and work instructions
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Support other shop equipment as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of machine operation experience
  • CNC lathe and Horizontal mill experience are required
  • Prefer Mazak Experience
  • Setup and tooling changeover experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
  • Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work up to 10-hour shifts in a physical shop environment

Schedule

  • 2nd shift
  • 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
