We’re seeking a hands-on CNC Process Engineering Manager to lead process development, drive technical excellence, and support continued growth in a high-precision machining environment.
This role combines leadership, advanced CNC expertise, and customer-facing impact—ideal for someone who thrives in complex, multi-axis machining and wants to influence both operations and business development.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and mentor a team of process engineers supporting CNC milling (up to 5-axis), Swiss, and mill-turn operations
Own process development from quoting through production: tooling, workholding, programming, and optimization
Create and troubleshoot CNC programs (Mastercam, PartMaker, or similar)
Partner with sales to support quoting, win new business, and deliver technical presentations to customers
Drive continuous improvement across quality, cycle time, and cost
Collaborate with inspection, production, and customers to ensure precision and performance standards are met
What You Bring:
Strong background in multi-axis CNC machining (5-axis, Swiss, mill-turn)
Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams in a machining environment
Deep expertise in CAD/CAM (Mastercam, PartMaker, SolidWorks)
Ability to interpret complex prints/models and translate into efficient processes
Experience with quoting, process development, and customer interaction
Solid understanding of metrology, SPC, and secondary processes (anodizing, heat treat, grinding, etc.)
