Senior Cold-Formed Steel Wall Panel Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cold-Formed Steel Wall Panel Designer with a strong background in prefabricated cold-formed load-bearing metal wall panels. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material takeoffs and project estimates.
• Complete project bidding and buyout activities.
• Interpret and review commercial construction blueprints.
• Design and coordinate prefabricated cold-formed steel wall panel systems.
• Manage projects from estimating through completion.
• Communicate with customers throughout the project lifecycle, including post-delivery support.
• Work independently while collaborating with internal teams to ensure project success.
• Manage multiple active projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience with Cold-Formed Steel Components.
• Extensive knowledge of:
• Prefabricated cold-formed load-bearing metal wall panels
• Commercial metal framing
• Blueprint reading
• Material takeoffs
• Estimating & bidding
• Project buyout
• Project management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Software Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

• Bluebeam
• PlanSwift
• Revit

Software experience is flexible. We're more interested in finding someone with the right industry knowledge and the ability to successfully perform the role.
