Position: Oil & Gas Attorney

Location: Houston or San Antonio

I am partnering directly with leadership at a well-respected energy-focused litigation firm known for representing sophisticated clients in complex energy disputes, including trials and arbitration. The firm is looking for an oil & gas attorney in either the Houston or San Antonio office. This firm offers attorneys direct exposure to substantive energy litigation matters, a collegial and supportive culture, and a clear opportunity to build a long-term career within a respected, industry-focused litigation practice.

Relocation assistance will be available for qualified candidates upon acceptance of the position

The salary for this role is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses.

What We Need

  • 3–7 years of experience with a primary focus on oil and gas litigation preferred

  • Previous oil and gas litigation experience is required

  • Strong litigation skills, including motion practice, discovery, and case strategy

  • Ability to manage matters independently and collaborate with senior litigators

  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing

  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills

What You'll Do

  • Handle oil and gas litigation matters from inception through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery in complex energy disputes

  • Support trial and arbitration preparation alongside experienced energy litigators

  • Work directly with firm leadership on strategy for significant client matters
