Manufacturing Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotes for custom machined components
• Review customer prints, specifications, and RFQs
• Estimate machining time, materials, tooling, and labor
• Develop manufacturing plans and recommend efficient production methods
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and customers throughout the quoting process

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, precision machining, or metal manufacturing
• Background in quoting, estimating, process planning, or manufacturing engineering
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
• Strong understanding of machining processes and manufacturing costs

Ideal backgrounds include: Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Estimator, Cost Estimator, CNC Programmer, Applications Engineer, Project Engineer, or Quoting Specialist.
