Family Law Associate Attorney
Location: San Antonio, TX
I am partnering with a well-respected, client-focused Texas law firm that is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join its San Antonio office. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney who wants to focus exclusively on family law—divorce, custody, support, and related matters—in a practice that emphasizes personalized advocacy, clear communication, and practical solutions for individuals and families.
What We Need
3+ years of Texas family law experience (divorce, custody/possession, child support, enforcement, modifications, protective orders, etc.)
Confidence in the courtroom, including handling temporary orders hearings, enforcement actions, and contested family law matters
Ability to manage your own docket, move cases forward, and maintain regular client contact with minimal oversight
Strong drafting skills for petitions, motions, orders, decrees, and settlement documents
Excellent communication and client counseling skills, with the ability to guide clients through emotionally charged situations
Active Texas Bar license in good standing
Genuine interest in building a long-term family law practice within a team-oriented environment
What You’ll Get
Competitive base salary plus monthly performance-based bonuses
Structured mentorship and case-strategy support from experienced family law practitioners
Opportunity to join a reputable, locally rooted family law practice with strong leadership
Partnership track opportunity for attorneys who demonstrate consistent performance and commitment
Supportive, professional environment focused on client service rather than “big firm” bureaucracy
If you’re interested/qualfied for the position, apply now. You will work directly with one of the owners while your personal docket of sophisticated cases is growing. The firm will invest in you, and advertise your services in San Antonio. The firm is seeking an attorney who is not afraid to go to court rather than just settling cases when it is not in the clients' interest to do so. If that is you, let's connect and have a quick confidential call to discuss the opportunity.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
