The machines are here. The work is waiting. We need the machinist who can take ownership of them.
A highly respected heavy gear manufacturer has made a major investment in additional VTL equipment and has a strong backlog of work with no slowdown in sight. That means consistent hours, substantial overtime and realistic first-year earnings over 100K for the right machinist.
What You’ll Do:
Set up, program and operate Vertical Turning Lathes
Work independently from blueprint through finished part
Make programming modifications and machining adjustments on the fly
Machine large, complex components, including keyways
Provide technical leadership on second shift
What You’ll Need:
Strong VTL or vertical lathe experience
CNC setup and programming experience
Ability to program directly from blueprints
Heavy gearing, gearbox or large-part machining experience preferred
Availability to work approximately 50–60 hours per week
