A premier and rapidly growing industrial contractor is seeking an experienced Industrial Estimator to join its Phoenix team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As an Industrial Estimator, you'll play a critical role in the company's growth by developing accurate, competitive estimates and helping secure major projects.

You'll work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, Project Managers, and executive leadership throughout the preconstruction and bidding process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead estimates from conceptual design through final bid.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and contract documents.
• Develop conceptual, schematic, design-development, and hard-bid estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Level bids and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Develop detailed bid summaries, budgets, alternates, and value-engineering options.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, client presentations, and negotiations.
• Partner with Project Management and Operations throughout project turnover.
• Assist with developing project budgets and cost-control strategies.
• Mentor Estimators and Project Engineers as needed.
• Build and maintain strong subcontractor and vendor relationships.

Projects may range from $10M to $500M+ depending on experience and project assignment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of industrial or commercial construction estimating experience
• Proven experience estimating large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, or mission-critical projects strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
• Excellent plan and specification reading skills.
• Advanced quantity takeoff and cost-analysis abilities.
• Strong subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, ProEst, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, DESTINI, or comparable estimating software preferred.

💰 LUCRATIVE COMPENSATION & BENEFITS$120,000 – $165,000+ BASE SALARY
