Exceptional Opportunity for a LIHTC Attorney

A highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Attorney to join its team at the Junior Partner level.

This is a significant opportunity for an attorney with 7+ years of LIHTC experience who is ready to take ownership of sophisticated transactions, mentor junior attorneys, and play a key role within a growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead LIHTC transactions from start to finish
  • Manage complex affordable housing and tax credit deals
  • Structure, negotiate, and document transactions
  • Work directly with clients, lenders, investors, developers, and other stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve complex legal and transactional issues
  • Mentor and develop junior associates
  • Collaborate with attorneys and professionals across the firm

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of LIHTC experience
  • Strong understanding of affordable housing transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to independently run a deal from inception through closing
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-management skills
  • Leadership ability and willingness to mentor junior associates
  • New York admission preferred/required for Buffalo or Manhattan candidates
