Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Position Type: Full-Time
A growing law firm is seeking a driven Litigation Associate Attorney to join a dynamic litigation group in Milwaukee. This role offers high visibility, direct client interaction, and exceptional opportunities for long-term career advancement and professional development.
The position regularly handles a diverse caseload involving property restriction enforcement, contract disputes, construction defects, and general real property matters.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage a varied caseload from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings/answers, handling discovery, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, trial preparation, actual trial conduct, and appellate work.
Maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic counsel and regular case updates.
Prepare for and chair client corporate meetings and engage in public speaking opportunities.
Manage a high volume of projects alongside administrative staff.
Oversee electronic task lists, timekeeping, and billing efficiently.
Required Qualifications
Licensure: Active admission to practice law in Wisconsin.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or representing governmental organizations in civil litigation.
Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft operating systems and modern legal software.
Attributes: Proven track record of dedication, strong interpersonal skills, and professional work ethic.
