Project Coordinator / Project Administrator – Residential Construction

Location: Asheville, NC

Compensation: Approximately $60,000

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Project Administrator to join a growing disaster restoration and residential construction company in Asheville, NC.

This position will play a critical role in supporting residential new construction and renovation projects from the administrative and coordination side. The ideal candidate will have experience working in residential construction, particularly with new builds and renovations, and understand the documentation, permitting, and project preparation required to keep projects moving forward.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support residential new construction and renovation projects.

  • Assist with the preparation and organization of project packets before projects begin.

  • Coordinate permitting requirements and assist with permit applications and related documentation.

  • Gather, organize, and maintain project documents, plans, specifications, and other required paperwork.

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and homeowners.

  • Track project documentation and help ensure all required information is complete and ready for the construction team.

  • Assist with scheduling, project communication, and general administrative coordination.

  • Help keep multiple projects organized and moving forward in a fast-paced environment.

  • Maintain accurate project files and records.

  • Provide administrative support to the construction and restoration teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in residential construction is required.

  • Experience supporting new residential construction and renovation/remodeling projects.

  • Experience with permitting and permit coordination.

  • Ability to prepare and organize complete project packets and construction documentation.

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, municipalities, and homeowners.

  • Experience working in a construction office, project coordination, project administration, or similar role preferred.

  • Disaster restoration experience is a plus, but residential construction experience is the priority.

Compensation

  • Approximately $60,000 per year
