Project Coordinator
Our client is a growing construction company specializing in new residential construction and renovation projects. They are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project teams and help keep projects moving efficiently from permitting through completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential construction experience who understands the importance of accurate documentation, permitting, scheduling, and communication between the office and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate residential construction projects and provide administrative support to project teams.
- Manage the permitting process, including applications, documentation, approvals, and communication with municipalities.
- Build, organize, and maintain construction build packets for field and construction teams.
- Track project documentation, plans, permits, selections, and other critical information.
- Coordinate communication between project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
- Help track project schedules and ensure required documents and approvals are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate project files and databases.
- Assist with identifying and resolving administrative or documentation issues that could impact construction timelines.
- Provide general administrative and project support as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in residential construction, construction administration, or project coordination.
- Hands-on experience with residential permitting is strongly preferred.
- Experience preparing or maintaining construction/build packets is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, municipalities, and internal teams.
