Bankruptcy Attorney – Remote (MUST LIVE IN FLORIDA)

An AV Preeminent-rated law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney looking for fully remote flexibility, competitive compensation, strong benefits, and a supportive team culture.

• Work-from-home remote position (with court appearances required in the Middle District of Florida).
• Must be barred in FL and physically located in FL to make court appearances (Tampa, Jacksonville, or Orlando areas).
• Strong preference for candidates with Bankruptcy Litigation experience handling Adversary Complaints, Appeals, Chapter 11 work.
• Multiple-jurisdiction admission is a huge plus.
• Minimum billable requirement: 1,920 hours per year. 
• Experience in Chapter 7 and 13 cases, preferably representing lenders and creditors, including attendance at court hearings. Preference for experience with litigation, Chapter 11, and adversary cases.

• Must possess a good understanding of Chapter 7 and 13 Bankruptcy procedures and laws.
• Litigation experience, preferably handling Adversary Complaints and Appeals in Bankruptcy Court.
