We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of experience to join a growing litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a California attorney looking to develop their litigation practice while working alongside experienced attorneys on a variety of matters.
The Opportunity
- Assist with civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Participate in discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
- Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Work closely with experienced attorneys on case strategy and client matters
- Take increasing responsibility for assigned matters as experience develops
- Build strong litigation skills while working on meaningful client matters
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership
- 1–4 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Motivated to build a long-term career in litigation
Compensation & Benefits
- $130,000–$160,000 base salary
- 1,800 annual billable hour expectation
