Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

Los Angeles | Orange County | San Diego

A sophisticated, results-driven law firm is continuing to grow and is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its team in Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to join a well-established, mid-sized firm with 200+ employees, strong attorney and staff tenure, and a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience representing employers in labor and employment matters and be interested in continuing to develop their practice alongside an experienced team.

*Please note- this role can be fully remote anywhere in California for someone with 7+ years of experience.

What You'll Do

  • Advise and counsel employers on a variety of labor and employment matters
  • Assist with employment litigation, including wage & hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and related claims
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Participate in discovery, depositions, mediations, and other litigation activities
  • Work closely with clients and senior attorneys to develop effective legal strategies
  • Manage multiple matters while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of Labor & Employment experience
  • Must have PAGA and FEHA experience 
  • California Bar admission in good standing
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • ABA-accredited law school
