About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Custom Fabricator to join a hands-on manufacturing environment specializing in custom metal fabrication and made-to-order products.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building, fitting, modifying, and welding custom components rather than performing repetitive production work. The right candidate will be able to take a drawing, measurements, or a finished concept and turn it into a high-quality finished product.

What You’ll Do

  • Fabricate and weld custom steel components and assemblies
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications
  • Perform accurate layout, measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, and fit-up
  • Perform MIG welding on steel and ensure clean, structurally sound welds
  • Use hand and power tools, saws, grinders, drills, and other fabrication equipment
  • Assemble components and make adjustments to ensure proper fit and finish
  • Work with different vehicle-specific and custom configurations
  • Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and appearance
  • Troubleshoot fitment or fabrication issues and determine the best solution
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional fabrication experience
  • Strong MIG welding skills
  • Experience with custom or low-volume fabrication
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints or fabrication drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with measuring, layout, cutting, grinding, and fit-up
  • Ability to work independently and take a project from start to finish
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to safely operate common fabrication tools and equipment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Experience

Candidates with backgrounds in the following areas are especially encouraged to apply:

  • Custom automotive fabrication
  • Off-road/4x4 fabrication
  • Truck or trailer fabrication
  • Heavy equipment fabrication
  • Structural steel
  • Custom metal fabrication
  • Job shop or prototype fabrication
