Fully Remote | 6+ Years of Experience
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Bankruptcy Attorney to join its team in a fully remote capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned bankruptcy attorney who is looking for flexibility while continuing to handle sophisticated Chapter 11 matters and a diverse bankruptcy caseload. There is NO billable requirement - seeking someone how can hit the ground running!
Handle complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters from inception through resolution
Represent clients in commercial bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings
Manage trustee-related matters and assignments
Handle preference litigation
Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other bankruptcy-related documents
Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, mediations, and other proceedings
Work independently while collaborating with attorneys and clients across the firm
Manage a sophisticated caseload with a high degree of autonomy
6+ years of substantive bankruptcy experience
Significant experience handling Chapter 11 matters
Experience with trustee work
Strong experience handling preference litigation
Must have prior experience practicing in a law firm/private practice setting
Ability to independently manage matters and step into an active caseload
Strong written, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fully remote environment
