An established, full-service public accounting firm in Chester County, PA is seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager to join its growing team.

Plan, manage, and oversee audit and assurance engagements from start to finish
Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and related reporting for accuracy and compliance
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout engagements
Communicate audit findings, accounting matters, and recommendations clearly and professionally
Develop strong client relationships by understanding their businesses, operations, and needs
Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing matters
Identify potential risks, internal control considerations, and opportunities to provide additional value to clients
Manage engagement timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables
Supervise, mentor, and develop audit professionals at various experience levels
Provide timely feedback and technical guidance to engagement teams
Collaborate with partners and other professionals across the firm's audit, accounting, and tax practices
Maintain current knowledge of applicable accounting and auditing standards
5+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience
CPA license or actively working toward CPA licensure
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable auditing standards
Experience managing and reviewing audit and assurance engagements
Strong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong client service and relationship-building abilities
Comfortable leading client meetings, answering questions, and explaining complex accounting and audit matters
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements, teams, priorities, and deadlines
Previous experience supervising and developing audit professionals
