Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative

North Boston, MA | Hybrid

Are you an experienced Workers’ Compensation claims professional looking for an opportunity where your expertise is valued?

We’re working with an organization in the North Boston area that is seeking a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned claims professional who enjoys managing complex WC claims and being a trusted resource to clients and insureds.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a caseload of approximately 150–200+ Workers’ Compensation claims
• Handle claims from investigation through resolution
• Coordinate medical management and the utilization review process
• Assign and work with Nurse Case Managers as needed
• Review and approve claim payments within established authority
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities
• Communicate with employers, injured employees, medical providers, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Evaluate claims for exposure, liability, reserves, and appropriate action
• Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience
• Strong knowledge of WC claims handling and best practices
• Experience managing a significant caseload of lost-time and/or complex claims
• Experience with medical management, utilization review, Nurse Case Management, payments, and/or subrogation
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation experience preferred
• Experience working with municipalities, public entities, nonprofits, or similar organizations is a major plus
